PRESIDENT
Peter Garceau, P.E.
Mr. Garceau has experience in the design, permitting and construction of a wide variety of civil engineering projects in Vermont including residential, commercial, municipal and industrial projects. He routinely performs many of the site designs, stormwater system designs and utility designs for the firm. His work includes commercial and industrial site planning, subdivisions, and soil and rock extraction. He prepares all the necessary State and Local permit applications for his projects. He is a licensed professional engineer in Vermont. Mr. Garceau joined Cross Consulting Engineers as an equity partner in January 2012.
PROJECT MANAGER
Dereck Woolridge, P.E.
Mr. Woolridge also has experience in other aspects of site engineering including sewer and water utility layout and design, water distribution system modeling, retaining wall design, flood plain analysis, construction document preparation, and traffic engineering.
Beyond the site, Mr. Woolridge is an experienced designer of roadway and intersection improvements including traffic signal systems. His traffic engineering experience includes preparing traffic impact studies, corridor studies, traffic signal warrant analyses, coordination of roadway improvements, and the design and construction administration of the installation of traffic signals. Mr. Woolridge also conducted peer reviews of traffic impact studies and roadway plans for local municipalities.
Mr. Woolridge has served as the Vice-President of the Vermont Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He is a Construction Document Technician, certified by the Construction Specifications Institute. Mr. Woolridge is registered as a Professional Engineer in Vermont and Pennsylvania.
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Vawn Edele, RA
Mr. Edele is responsible for architectural design and drafting for a wide variety of structures designed by Cross Consulting Engineers. He recently completed the architectural design on a large multi-story manufacturing facility, in conjunction with CCE’s structural and civil engineering design teams. Mr. Edele also designed a 60,000 SF manufacturing facility for Louis Garneau USA in Derby Vermont. Other experience includes design of the Town of Swanton Public Works Garage, Farrell Distributing Corp. in 2014, Peerless Clothing and Barry Callebaut.
While employed as an architect in Connecticut, Mr. Edele’s experience primarily involved design of high end residential structures. That experience has provided the foundation for the design of institutional and industrial structures by Cross Consulting Engineers.
SURVEYOR
Jason Burt
Mr. Burt’s primary focus at Cross Consulting Engineers is on boundary surveys. He undertakes 80% of the survey field work completed by the firm and completes a large portion of the deed research needed. All survey work is tied to the Vermont Coordinate System.

Nicholas Bouton, E.I
Mr. Bouton is assisting other engineers at Cross Consulting Engineers with site planning, stormwater design, grading and utilities, site permitting and structural design. He prepares AutoCAD plans, writes specifications, and prepares permit applications.
